Hello dear readers! I'm back with Petunia and the new chapter was just published :) 
          
          For anyone who's wondering why I took such a long break, here's a small explanation. I’m writing because I’m enjoying it and like the story, but because of my self-inflicted deadlines sometimes it can feel like a chore. Whenever it does, I allow myself a break and this one happened to fall on the longer side of things. But I just wanted to make clear that I love writing Petunia’s story and if that ever changes and I realise I can’t give it the energy it deserves I would let all of you know instead of putting it in an indefinite hiatus. I know from my experiences as a reader that following an ongoing story can be nerve-wrecking, especially once you become invested because there is no guarantee that it will be finished, so I want to say that I really appreciate all of you for being with me on this journey and taking a chance with my story.

Hi everyone! I wanted to apologize for the unannounced hiatus concerning the weekly Petunia updates. While writing I realised that the next chapters need some more time and want to get them right so you have the best reading experience :) 
          
          As a birthday present to @Moony101_remus here is a small sneak peek of the next chapter: 
          
          “Mr Potter, Mr Snape, Ms Petunia,” Dumbledore greeted, smiling indulgently. “What an interesting pairing.”
          “Professor Dumbledore,” Potter returned the greeting while Snape forced a gravelly “Headmaster” from between clenched teeth. 
          Petunia stayed silent. 
          “No worries, my dears, I always thought of curfew as more of a suggestion than a rule,” he huffed good-naturedly. “This is the perfect time for adventure, as daytime lends itself to much calmer pursuits.”
          “Adventure,” Petunia repeated faintly, not really trusting her ears. “Professor – Headmaster. I want to file a complaint.”
          
          The rest is soon to follow ;)
