What do you prefer to write/read past tense or present tense?

@LD_3108 Ideally, books should be written in the past tense and the third person, but this young adult fiction on Wattpad tends to be written in the first person with a mishmosh of tenses.

I think past tense is better. I believe past is kind of cosier and more interesting to read. Plus, most readers are used to the past tense I guess...
