“ NOT GOING ANYWHERE . I’m a thorn on your side , nothing is taking me out . Now sit . ” a play on his morality usually worked , watching the gears turn in his head , the realisation hitting that he needed to survive for his family . hand gesturing towards a chair for him , stepping away for a moment . sounds of wood scraping across rocky ground from behind him , before her own chair was promptly pulled up , and she sat . she’d stay a thousand times over if it meant he’d survive .

OKAY I HEAR YOU. ( ... ) JUST, STAY. DON'T LEAVE MY SIDE. PLEASE? NOT A FAN OF BEING POKED ‘N PRODDED. DOESN’T MATTER IF THEY’RE YOURS OR NOT. " the smack wakes him up a bit, there's a grave expression that lingers on john's face. maybe it's the though of the people who actually rely on him, his family back home. he has to live, stay in good health. there's no question about it. that's why he caves.

“ I CAN BE WORRIED without it being a product of someone else’s thoughts . ” SMACK ! as her hand hit his arm . clearly she didn’t believe he was that injured . she’d punch him in the face if it meant knocking sense into him , yet she doubted ilya wouldn’t tackle her the second she lifted her hand , like a guard dog . hand moved from his arm to his chest , firmly pushing back . warning against any potential movement , a sharp whistle to call over her own team — medics . he needed attention and they both knew it .
