@Bellevuedreamer Don't worry, I don't think it's from your end. It's definitely a Wattpad admin glitch because I had the same issue with Dennis and Joe's stories.

Is anyone else having trouble reading the latest posted chapters? I can't seem to navigate straight to them. I'm having to open the previous chapter then manually navigate to it using the menu button at the top right... But this morning even that didn't work, as the latest chapters in the stories I'm reading are greyed out. Sorry guys, I'll catch up on your stories once this is sorted.

@LEGlazebrook thank you for your message; I can't answer back. It has to be some other glitch. So, similar problem occurred 2 weeks ago. I fixed it by going "Publish" again for those chapters --the last one that didn't have the tab of next chapter and the new chapter. I will try it again today. Thank you! Elise

Yikes. Sorry about those spelling mistakes. That's another thing I'm having trouble with. My phone is substituting what I think I'm typing for some really weird words that don't come close to what I mean. Maybe I need a new phone.

@LEGlazebrook Yes!!! I am. Also, my emojis aren't working properly while I'm on Wattpad. They work on everything other app or messenging site but freeze while using Wattpad. So weird. Properly something to do with the changes and updates. Insert face palm here.

Hi Everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has ever put their writing on SUBSTACK? It's been recommended to me by a young colleague who posts her poetry there. I'd never heard of it, prior to her mention of it. She loves it, but it doesn't appear to have the "immediacy" of Wattpad. That's the thing I do love about Wattpad, you can really interact and engage with readers in a way that few, (if any) other platforms allow. If any of you use Substack, please share your experience. Has it been positive or negative? Has it been worth it? Should I bother downloading the app and joining?

@LEGlazebrook I previously used Substack for my author newsletter, but have since switched to another platform for it. I've seen other authors use Substack for serial fiction but mostly as a way to paywall their work (like you would do with Patreon or similar platform). I believe these authors already had large platforms and brought their followers over from other places so I'm not sure how well it would work for building a community. I know for my author newsletter, I didn't have anyone sign up who had found me on Substack itself. They found me on here or social media or my website.

@LEGlazebrook Mention not. ❤️ I wouldn't say it's bad but then again, I believe it's not for everyone especially if you're not looking for to build a newsletter thing in future then Wattpad is still best for its own community until you find out better opportunities.
