I've barely been on Wattpad lately, and this is what I've been up to. I entered two competitions recently, with two stories. One is 800 words, and the other is just shy of 2k. Both are about the same character, and are prequels to a longer work, so far nearly 6k (though it's a mess, and badly needs editing and organisation). I expect to share 'Ever Changing, Ever Near', soon, but 'A Fragile Solace' needs a *lot* of work still on it before I'll share it with anyone. On that note, I'm also looking for sensitivity readers! There's no ETA, except that I'd like to polish 'A Fragile Solace' properly at some point in the next month or two. As for the main work (still untitled, currently simply called Inklings because it was written for a challenge called the Inklings Challenge), I have no idea how long it will take, though I'd like to share a preview once it's polished. When I say 'sensitivity readers', I'm specifically looking for autistic people who can give me a hand. My main character, Hadassah, is autistic; she was a character from years ago, and I remembered she existed and began to make things about her. Not to spoil too much - the basic story is about Hadassah, who has always felt left out et cetera, but a forced world-change gives her a chance to thrive and blossom and grow into the woman she was always meant to be. She is Christian, but it doesn't come up often - she reads Psalms without knowing they're Psalms but deriving comfort from them, and she prays, but there's pretty much no explicit Christianity in there, though obviously my worldview will always shape my stories. If you're interested in discussing this more, please either reply or PM me. As for my short story collection (Sparks Under Heaven), it is currently on hiatus, but after November I plan to return to attack the thousands of edits left by my editor, R.M. Archer! For a brief but comprehensive summary of all my projects to date (except one new one lol), see my website, lemorganauthor.wordpress.com

Also would like to note (since I maxed out at precisely 2000 characters) that even if you express your interest, obviously, I wouldn't be expecting you to give a hand for certain. Life gets in the way sometimes. The best place to stay in the loop is my Discord server - in which, even if you're not interested in any of the other channels or any of my excellent friends (they're all lovely), I have a channel specifically dedicated to Wattpad (in my archives, anyway, even if it's not current). Oh, and I'll also be looking for potentially beta readers (uncertain) and ebook-for-review people as well, for Sparks Under Heaven! I'm planning to publish sometime next year, though life got in the way so it won't be as soon as I had hoped. If you're interested in hearing more details and potentially being sent a section to gauge your interest, please either reply to this or PM me. While I wouldn't refuse it to non-Christians, it is very much a Christian collection, and the strongest theme across the stories (hilariously, mostly unintentionally) is faith and how sometimes it's hard to hold. Also: since picking up Rebelle 5 on an enormous sale recently, I've been doing art, and having loads of fun with it. I'll share some eventually. If anyone's interested in getting any artwork from me (or photography) or seeing what I've done, just PM me. I can't guarantee I'll actually pick up and run with your idea, but I'm always interested in getting ideas, anyhow. I have posted more poetry on AO3 and Fictionpress (both under the name A Talking Cat), which is available nowhere else.
