do ya’ll prefer books told chronologically (linear timeline) or with alternating timelines. I personally love books that flip between the past and the present. IF done right lol

@SLICCBAKK some mysteries do need that continuity in order for me to really be immersed in it. buttttt i do love a good whodunit with still has that timeline slippage. ☠️ like yes, pls drop me right in the middle of the crime and then feed me crumbs from everyone's pov until i get that aha! moment. ooof girl is this a safe space?? i've never seen Lost but i’ve heard so much about it. i 100% agree that it's easier to translate in cinema though. linear books are just way easier to follow if i just want to read and not think
