I completely agree. I’d prefer to discuss our strategies more privately so they aren't open for everyone to read. Could you share your email address with me? Or if you'd prefer, I can send you mine. I’m looking forward to diving deeper into this plan with you.

Up until now, I’ve strictly focused on finishing the book. My plan is to complete the story first and then shift my focus to marketing. One of my main goals is to publish it on Amazon Kindle. My target audience is high school and early college-aged girls. Without giving away too many spoilers, I can say that 'feminism will win' in the end, so I’m particularly interested in reaching out to feminist communities and readers who appreciate that perspective. What do you think would be the best way to approach these specific groups?
LIAM_Reader
@KhayalAsadov if your target is high school and early college aged girls especially those who resonate with feminist themes the key won’t just be “marketing later,” it will be clarity of positioning from the start. When it comes to Amazon Kindle specifically, cover design, blurb clarity, and keyword positioning will matter a lot for reaching the right readers organically. If you’d like, we can break this down into pre launch vs post launch strategy because there’s actually a way to prepare your audience even before publishing.

Hi! Where can I find more young female readers like you who will read and critique my story? I'd love to reach an audience that appreciates this level of depth.
LIAM_Reader
@KhayalAsadov Ohhh, sure I can help you reach as many as possible. What method have you implemented so far?

Book name: IT’s YOU

In my book, no character will be 100% good. I believe that a person's goodness or badness is shaped by the events they experience, and that’s exactly how it will be here. Every character will be molded by their circumstances, just like in real life. But there’s something I’ve been meaning to ask you: If there was a book like this, what is the maximum price in dollars you would be willing to pay for it?
LIAM_Reader
That’s a thoughtful question. For a book like the one you’re describing emotionally intense, morally complex, and grounded in realism I’d personally see it in the $4.99–$9.99 range depending on length, depth, and how professionally it’s presented.
But honestly, the price isn’t just about content quality. It’s about perceived value cover design, blurb strength, positioning, and how clearly the emotional promise is communicated.
If the presentation signals depth and intensity the way you’re describing, readers would likely see it as premium rather than casual entertainment.

I assume you're 18+ since you're following the story. If you don't mind, I’d love to ask for your opinion on where the plot is headed.
LIAM_Reader
@KhayalAsadov Yes, I’m 18+. And I’d be glad to share my thoughts on the plot direction. From what I’ve read so far, the emotional pacing and tension balance are working well. I’d be curious to see whether you plan to escalate the stakes externally (conflict, consequences, societal pressure) or internally (character doubt, moral tension, emotional vulnerability). Both could deepen the intensity in different ways, so it really depends on the kind of emotional aftertaste you want readers to feel.

@Merlyn_Fereira you welcome! your story slows down in the emotional scenes feels very intentional.
