leaving this here bc i just got into an argument about it with my brother:
          
          y'know what are some examples of satire? saying kill all men, saying white people cannot season food, or being heterophobic. poking fun at the [mainly problematic] people who HAVENT been opressed for their sexual orientation, gender orientation, class, color of their skin, etc. is a huge satire joke. 
          
          y'know what ISNT satire? using racial, homophobic/transphobic, albeist, etc slurs to attack minorities solely based off their gender orientation, sexual orientation, color of their skin, their disability, or their poverty. that isn't satire. that's REALITY. it happens everyday, and isn't something to joke about. don't say slurs and say it's a "joke" simply because you "don't mean it in a malicious way". don't support people who make those "jokes", either.
