cause one thing about me imma ride for my friends IDC. it's embarrassing. flat out that's what it is. "it's just a fanfic" no. we're as much as authors as anyone else. people put work into these things. lucy works HARD on her edits, writing, manips, etc. and as her friend it really SUCKS to see multiple people copy her. this isn't about just using madelyn cline as a face claim, it's about stealing mannerisms, personality, plot, etc. lucy is a GOOD person. the most supportive person i've ever met. yes she's popular and bound to be copied but that's not an excuse. WORK HARD. MAKE UR FIC/CHARACTERS STAND OUT. mad woman & protection of my own did not get to where they are because of us copying other people. 
          
          BE UNIQUE. work hard and give people a chance to love the characters/ plot YOU come up with. don't piggyback off of someone else because you want quick fame. it takes time. it took over two years to get protection of my own to where it is now. and imma be a bit vulnerable but back before me and lucy were talking regularly, i constantly compared myself to her. i saw how popular she was and i wanted it. but you know what i did? i didn't copy her. i didn't quit. i kept making edits. i kept writing. and it took time, but it paid off because now i have over 100k reads which i am SO grateful for. JUST. BE. UNIQUE. find your niche. it'll work out.
