it's been a crazy year y'all. school was tough, there was suddenly a huge covid wave in my area, and i've been crazy stressed out. and... like... suddenly the time was passing so quickly and i kept telling myself that i should probably get back to work but that never really happened. so ig i'm here now??? hi??? how y'all been???

I’m in choir now and we’re choosing uniforms and I went for the dress shirt and tie instead of blouse (I think it shows too much of my collarbone and I’m big comfortable with that) but my mom being the old fashioned woman she is thinks I’m being too boyish and I should wear pink dresses and bows. Now I’m pretty sure she thinks I’m trans (she’s transphobic btw) and like?? No??? I’m just a tomboyish girl who prefers keeping her body covered?

and she thinks I’m trans because I refused to write a speech against introducing books about being trans to children who might potentially grow up to be just that and make them feel more comfortable with themselves
