The format is in epub. You need to download it first to your device. If you are using iphone, you can directly open it with the app Books (it's already in the phone) and if you are using android, use the ReadEra/ Moon+Reader/FBReader or Google Play Books app. I did it in epub because it's easier to read. Hope this help.
NOTES: I used google playbook app on my android phone and found that I DISLIKE it because YOU CAN'T even delete / remove book from it (unless you go to the webpage). I am mostly read from my iphone (book).
