Made a minor fix to Chapter 1 of Ill-Gotten Memories just now! I have 20 some chapters revised at the moment. There’s two more chapters that need finishing up before I am ready to republish the new-and-improved revised version of the story! I’ll be real with y’all, both chapters I’ve got cooking are brand new to the story, not pre-existing ones. I’ve done a lot of drafting since January. I want these first 20ish chapters to be perfect before re-uploading though, so it will still be a while until I’m ready. 
          
          From line edits to brand new chapters, the story has been refreshed quite considerably.  I can’t wait to share it with you!

Hi guys! I just posted the prologue and the first chapter of Ill-Gotten Memories back to Wattpad today, but I'm not ready to republish everything just yet, so think of it as a placeholder. I've decided that when I am ready though, I'm going to be cross-posting to Inkitt, Royal Road, and maybe Web Novel additionally. The story will always remain free to read, so don't worry, I'm avoiding predatory contracts associated with Web Novel lol. However, in order to be approved for Royal Road, they do their homework by checking around to see if you're plagiarizing someone else's work or not. Which is why I'm adding the prologue and first chapter back to Wattpad for the time being so they know it's me. The story is still under revision at the moment guys. I can't wait to reupload again. Cross-posting, while not bulletproof, is going to be my deterrent to it getting copied and stolen by someone else. Hope ya'll are having a great Summer!

Hello everyone! To whom it may concern, I've made the decision to remove Ill-Gotten Memories from Wattpad for the time being. Mainly, because, I have seen a lot of writers on here reporting their works stolen, copied word for word, and published on Amazon (and even other serial web sites as well). My book may not be the best but I do not want to risk losing my story to these scummy thieves taking advantage of hard-working authors. Secondly, as ya'll may have noticed, because I have not been able to publish as often as I would like due to my IRL responsibilities with work/family. I'm still writing when I can but I hate that I've been unable to upload for ya'll! When I am, I'm editing chapters already written (because I feel like a total armature when I go back and read them *cries*). But the amount of writers I've seen have their works stolen is absurd to me and it's honestly sad we can't feel safe enough to share our stories anymore due to these leeches.

Hey! I’m once again apologizing for the lack of updates but I could literally write y’all a book about how crazy my New Year has been. First up, I was sick! Then add on top of that a snowstorm that caused a lot of work drama and has me trying to find another job. And then our public water access got shut off and still is! So I’ve spent the last four days at my mother-in-law’s without access to my laptop. I have been super frustrated with my work conditions and health. I’m literally just venting now and I’m sorry for just randomly updating yall like this. I’m sorry.

          Once again I’m sorry for the lack of updates but to be completely honest with ya’ll, I’ve been so busy. Between work, traveling, and visiting with my family, and all the other things that come with the holidays, I’ve not had a moment to even think about writing or reading. It’s just a crazy time of year but it will calm down soon! I’m so thankful to have a family to go and visit though! Ya’ll be safe, have a great Christmas, and a happy new year!

Hi ya’ll! I have been so busy lately with working/shopping/family stuff and holidays. Ill-Gotten Memories is not abandoned though I just haven’t had any time to MYSELF (which is important) to get any work done.  I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! I’m sorry to say I’m not sure when I can update Ill-Gotten Memories again but please know it’s on my to-do list and it’s always on my mind.

Hey guys! I’m once again sorry for not writing/reading much lately. I’ve been working *a lot* and have family commitments coming up—my hubby’s b-day is Friday and I’m throwing him a lil party. I’m gonna be honest, this time of year is so draining for me. I am truly sorry but I’m not abandoning my R4R commitments or my story, I promise!

Hey everyone! I just wanted you to know that with the Holidays approaching very soon, I may not get much writing done, if any at all! Work becomes SO HECTIC and I get mentally drained. But with that said, no, Ill-Gotten Memories is not going to be abandoned or anything. IN FACT, I just finished completely outlining it!  I kid you not, my outline is 28 pages long on Google Docs. I am in love with this story ya'll. I'm so excited for you to see the plot twists I have in store.

Hey ya’ll! I’ve been a tad busy with work and stuff lately. I haven’t written anything for the next chapter of Ill-Gotten Memories yet, but I have been outlining some! Just a lil update :)
