Apparently from what I’ve heard,
          
           when Mother Quokkas are threatened by a predator, they relax the muscles in their pouch and let their baby fall out and use that as a distraction to escape while basically leaving their baby to die :frown:
          
          OR THEY EITHER JUST THROW THEIR BABY AT THE PREDATOR AND GO IN TO FLIGHT MODE ( not sure abt this fact tho </3 )
