it certainly used to be,  just when i came into existence.  it was all fixed up,  not at all torn apart,  and there was not a single loose thread.

in other words,  atsushi can’t hide shit from him 

▎tora and his human are one.  their souls are intertwined,  and tora cannot abandon them until they pass on.  though he may not be the emotional type,  he can feel what they feel,  channelled through to him like an empathic connection. 

▎he grants his humans the ability to transform into a huge, white tiger.  whether that be isolated body parts or their entire form is up to them and their control over him.  he cannot override their decisions once they have learnt to control their ability,  though.  on the contrary,  when they do not have control  (when they are young children,  for instance)  they tend to transform beneath moonlight,  whether that be through his decision or through his instincts.
