Hi everyone, I’m Lauren, the author of The Secret Boxer. I started the book when I was 15, and I’m 20 now. I’m going to be honest, I will more than likely never finish that book. I came on here today because I saw in my spam emails that I had a bunch of notifications because apparently people still read the book. I started the book when I was a scared and closeted lesbian who had told maybe three people at the time. As the years went on I grew to accept myself and become the out and proud lesbian I am today. Although coming out came with struggles, mostly being outed in high school and having to transfer schools, it really was the best for me. I’m in college now and although, still single, I’m happy with my life now and I’m no longer that depressed teenager longing for a love I wasn’t ready for yet. So I want thank you all for reading my book because it was an outlet for me, a way to escape my closeted life and be who I truly was, and I’m sure it was the same for many of you as well. To everyone reading or have read my book The secret boxer. I'm so so so sorry I haven't been updating its been more than a month and I literally have no excuse for why I haven't written anything except for the fact that I'm lazy. I have a written copy of the next two chapters on paper with me I just need to type them and post them. Like I said I'm so sorry guys.
