This is The Hiddles-Verse, although at this point calling it a universe may be slightly optimistic.

There are multiple timelines. Multiple Toms. Alternate realities. Babies, teenagers, husbands, strangers, second chances, first meetings, one-shots, long stories, short stories, and characters who occasionally wander into The Loading Bar when I get distracted and start writing something else.

There is, however, only one Loki.

He insists.

Before anyone gets concerned: this is fiction.

I don't know Tom Hiddleston. I don't know what he thinks, does, eats for breakfast or gets up to when nobody's looking. The Tom you'll meet in these pages is a fictional character inspired by a public figure, dropped into entirely imaginary situations with entirely imaginary relationships, families and lives.

Real Tom gets to live his real life.

Fictional Tom, unfortunately, has to deal with me.

What began with a love of Loki somehow became 58 stories about love, family, ridiculousness, resilience, heartbreak, hope, ducks, Shakespeare, occasionally questionable life choices and the strange places an imagination can take you.

Some stories will make you laugh.

Some might make you cry.

Some may make you wonder what the hell I was drinking when I wrote them.

Usually coffee.

So whether this is your first trip into the Hiddles-Verse or you've been here long enough to understand why #PeasAreEvil...

Come in.

The kettle's on.

Loki's probably arguing with somebody.

And somewhere in the distance, a small child is shouting:
