OMG KINDA RANDOM BUT ALSO ON TOPIC BUT— for my English class my teacher showed us the syllabus and one of the assignments would be choosing between writing a fanfic or something else and I’ve been cackling about it since Tuesday because I love being in an advanced class <33

GRRRR I… I have something important to announce… I HAVE WRITER’S BLOCK *sobs loudly* like, I realllyyyyy want to work on my fanfic but as I sit there and stare at my blank google doc and the blinking cursor nothing /good/ comes to mind. And I realllyyy wanted to update WTSMTS since I’m particularly attached to the idea, but I can’t write anything. It’s tragic, truly. ESPECIALLY SINCE ITS BEEN SO LONG SONCE IVE UPDATED IT
So, should I post the small tidbit I have in my drafts from before I started rewriting both fanfics? Or just, like, power through the writer’s block? Because I feel motivated, but nothing’s coming to my mind ;-;

@Not_Very_Smart_52 thank you pookums, I think I’m going to read some fanfics that’ll make me start wishing I was writing instead of reading because that works sometimes (a BIG sometimes)
As someone who does experience writers block I totally feel you! Try to find a place to start. That is always my issue. You can power through, or you can take a moment and find some motivation through music, movies, tv, pictures, etc. Whatever inspires you! That's just my idea though lol, I really am no better

I’m working on Where the Sky Meets the Sea because I have ADHD and can’t focus on one thing at a time smh (I’m still interested in working on Where the Flowers Bloom, it’ll just be sporadically updated)
