@earthgrlsReasy You're right, and thanks for pointing it out. It made me remember/realize how easy it is to rely on AI because it's so accessible, but also that it's not necessary. I've since changed my covers to ones I created myself. I appreciate the reminder and the feedback!

A small update regarding Ice and Asphalt.
          
          Some of you may have noticed that I’ve decided to archive the story. After thinking about it for quite some time, I realized it no longer feels right for me to keep it up.
           
          Ice and Asphalt was a fanfiction I wrote a few years ago, and since then I’ve grown a lot — both in the way I write and in the kind of stories I want to tell. Looking back, I no longer feel the same pride in that story that I do with the original work I’m creating now. I’ve also become uncomfortable with the fact that it was based around a real person, and while the characters themselves were never meant to reflect reality, it’s simply something I no longer feel comfortable writing.
          
          This decision has nothing to do with being ungrateful. I truly appreciate everyone who read, supported, and loved that story.
          
          For me, this is simply a step forward as a writer.
          
          Right now, my focus is on my original sports romance stories, mainly centered around hockey, and I’m also planning a future Formula 1 sports romance with fully original characters between book two and book three of the Frostwood series.
          
          Thank you to everyone who has supported my writing journey so far

            Yes, you noticed it right — I’ve archived Ice and Asphalt.
            
            The reason being: it was a fanfic I wrote a couple of years ago, and besides finding both my storytelling and writing in it not as strong as I’d like, I’ve also grown uncomfortable with the fact that it’s about a real person. Not that any of the characters in it are actually like the real people, but it just doesn’t sit right with me anymore.
            
            I also don’t feel the same pride and joy in it that I do with my original stories, which at the moment are sports romances focused on hockey.
            
            I am planning to write a Formula 1 sports romance with fully original characters between the second and third book of the Frostwood series, so if Formula 1 sports romance is your interest, there is something coming up.
            
            Archiving Ice and Asphalt doesn’t mean I’m ungrateful for the people who read it and loved it — I appreciate every single person who supported it. But I think, for me as a writer, it’s time to move on.
            
            It simply didn’t feel right for me anymore.

Obsessed with your writing. Just finished the books about Charlotte and Cole and love the character development and all the detail. Yes it’s a cliche hockey romance but you make it so so good and different from all others. Disappointed there won’t be a book 3!

          I haven’t started writing them just yet since I’m currently working on Empty Net, but I already have the titles (and couples ) planned out…

          There will be a third part of the Edge series, but I’ll probably take a short break after finishing book two. I want to make sure the next part is as good as possible and not rushed.

Hello everyone!
          
          As some of you may have noticed, I’ve archived all of my fanfic books except for Ice and Asphalt. The reason is that I’m no longer comfortable writing fanfiction. I still absolutely love writing and will continue to do so, but from now on it will be with fully original characters.
          
          I’ve always written stories in my head this way anyway — I never truly wrote the characters as their real-life counterparts — and using their names has started to feel strange to me.
          
          My first original book is already out, and it’s a hockey romance! I really hope you enjoy it, as I’m currently working on the second book in that series.
          
          And don’t worry — I’m also planning to write a racing-related book soon. I already have the main ideas mapped out in my head, but it will feature original characters as well.
          
          Ice and Asphalt will stay online since so many of you love that story, so no worries there. I truly hope you’ll stick with me and continue to enjoy my books. I’m still me, still writing the same way I always have (in my opinion, even better than Ice and Asphalt).
