          	With the new guidelines Wattpad has introduced, there’s understandably been a LOT of confusion and concern about what’s going to happen to stories that contain smut.
          	
          	From what I understand after reading through the guidelines, it seems less like “no smut whatsoever” and more focused on stories that are primarily or entirely explicit, as well as certain types of fanfiction. So, in my understanding, stories like mine — where there may be some smut, but it’s definitely not the entire focus of the book — should be okay.
          	
          	That being said… I’ve already seen stories similar to mine being taken down, and honestly, I don’t want to risk losing my work or, even worse, not being able to share it with you guys anymore. 
          	
          	So, to make sure my stories are safe and accessible, I’ve decided to start uploading my books to AO3 as well! The stories will, of course, remain here on Wattpad for as long as they’re allowed to stay, but you can now also find me and my work over there under the same username: Ladybug1671.
          	
          	Empty Net is already up on AO3, and I’m currently working on transferring the Edge Series over there too. It is, admittedly, a pain in the ass to transfer everything , but I’d rather put in the work now than risk losing everything later.
          	
          	I’ll also be posting Cross Checked on AO3 while continuing to post it here on Wattpad as well! ❤️
          	
          	Basically, I just want to make sure that no matter what happens with Wattpad’s new guidelines, you guys can still find my stories and I can keep sharing them with you.

Heyy! Just like empty net it’ll probably be around 40 chapters, I’m at thirty six now in my drafts. So around any of these days I’ll drop the finishing chapters when I’m done with the whole story😊

@earthgrlsReasy You're right, and thanks for pointing it out. It made me remember/realize how easy it is to rely on AI because it's so accessible, but also that it's not necessary. I've since changed my covers to ones I created myself. I appreciate the reminder and the feedback!

A small update regarding Ice and Asphalt.
          
          Some of you may have noticed that I’ve decided to archive the story. After thinking about it for quite some time, I realized it no longer feels right for me to keep it up.
           
          Ice and Asphalt was a fanfiction I wrote a few years ago, and since then I’ve grown a lot — both in the way I write and in the kind of stories I want to tell. Looking back, I no longer feel the same pride in that story that I do with the original work I’m creating now. I’ve also become uncomfortable with the fact that it was based around a real person, and while the characters themselves were never meant to reflect reality, it’s simply something I no longer feel comfortable writing.
          
          This decision has nothing to do with being ungrateful. I truly appreciate everyone who read, supported, and loved that story.
          
          For me, this is simply a step forward as a writer.
          
          Right now, my focus is on my original sports romance stories, mainly centered around hockey, and I’m also planning a future Formula 1 sports romance with fully original characters between book two and book three of the Frostwood series.

            Yes, you noticed it right — I’ve archived Ice and Asphalt.
            
            The reason being: it was a fanfic I wrote a couple of years ago, and besides finding both my storytelling and writing in it not as strong as I’d like, I’ve also grown uncomfortable with the fact that it’s about a real person. Not that any of the characters in it are actually like the real people, but it just doesn’t sit right with me anymore.
            
            I also don’t feel the same pride and joy in it that I do with my original stories, which at the moment are sports romances focused on hockey.
            
            I am planning to write a Formula 1 sports romance with fully original characters between the second and third book of the Frostwood series, so if Formula 1 sports romance is your interest, there is something coming up.
            
            Archiving Ice and Asphalt doesn’t mean I’m ungrateful for the people who read it and loved it — I appreciate every single person who supported it. But I think, for me as a writer, it’s time to move on.
            
            It simply didn’t feel right for me anymore.

Obsessed with your writing. Just finished the books about Charlotte and Cole and love the character development and all the detail. Yes it’s a cliche hockey romance but you make it so so good and different from all others. Disappointed there won’t be a book 3!

          I’m so excited to finally share that there will officially be at least 3 more books coming in the Frostwood Series, following some of the other couples!
          
          I haven’t started writing them just yet since I’m currently working on Empty Net, but I already have the titles (and couples ) planned out…
