Hello! My pen name is Lake Rodríguez, and I like to keep my privacy secure. But I generally try to be welcoming and open with who I am. As some basics of my background, I'm currently a university graduate student who has been all over the country throughout my childhood. I study economics, history, data analytics, political science, political theory, international relations, and more. I try to leave a lot of that behind when I'm writing which usually, if not always, takes on a far more fictional setting. As for my pronouns

I have been writing since early childhood, though have rarely completed any work for publishing. My interests in writing have often been broad with an appeal, largely, to smaller comforts, abandonment (in some form or another), loss, solitude, and, in lighter tastes, magical descriptions and scenes. I've written in niche circles such as Dieselpunk and more common circles such as Science Fiction and Fantasy; in all of them I included some form of magic because I've always enjoyed a sense of wonder and the unexplained to divert away from the heavier topics I sometimes broach.
