I'm from the United States and a proud African-American but I have strong Jamaican roots that I'm also very proud of. I'm 23 years old and have been writing my own stories since the sixth grade. It's always been one of my hobbies. 'Open Waters' is the first of my writings that I shared with people here on wattpad. I don't normally do but thought why not? I love any kind of creative criticism as long as it's done respectfully and I can't promise to take it and apply it but to file it for later works if it will work with it. Everything on here is a first draft of something else I'm working on so it'll be rough first reads of things I'm trying to get published in the future. Don't hesitate to ask any questions you have about what I do write! I tend to work outside the box and use more colloquialism then straight proper literature English. To me it's more authentic of a read if you try to tap into the everyday speech as opposed to rigid lingual barriers. I love writing new things, because it gives me something new to explore and understand.
