Well, that’s it, then.

Unfortunately, I’m afraid that, given Wattpad’s new terms of service, Flowers will end up being censored, considering what I have planned for the rest of the story.

So I have no choice. I won’t be posting on this account anymore and will post exclusively on Ao3.

It hurts to think about it, especially since I had the privilege of experiencing Wattpad’s golden age for a while, having started publishing my writing on my very first account back in 2017.

I’ll probably continue reading on this account, but there won’t be any more updates here.

I realize that this censorship hurts readers more than the platform itself, especially since some of you might not want to switch to Ao3. Please know that I’m truly sorry about this, but defending freedom of expression is more important than anything else, especially since we have no idea how the algorithm will be programmed to conduct these checks or whether appeals will be possible if a work or account is banned, as the policy is far too vague to understand its true consequences.

So if you’d like to find Flowers of 1959 on Ao3, you can do so on my account Hiraethcarpediemacademia .

Much love to all of you, dear readers
