I'm an English teacher for middle school, and I have always loved reading and writing. Being in teaching for 4 years has been great and rewarding at times, but I am falling out of love with the field. My goal is to write a New Adult book and just sharpen and harness my skills as a writer. I want to do what I love, so I am committing to writing and reading more outside of my job. With the pandemic and political divide in the U.S., it's apparent that being miserable is an unfortunate commonality, but I refuse to settle for that life.  I want to be able to do what I love and enjoy, so I am manifesting the life I want to live. I was always really scared to share my writing, but I am making an intentional decision to share my writing so that I can get past my fear of failure and truly be a writer.
