I'm going to hold off on updating this weekend because of homework and the fact that I haven't gotten to edit the past five chapters I've written yet. I'll update next weekend though. 

Hello everyone! I have a special request to ask of you (if you want to, of course!). So, my plan for this book is to, after it is finished and edited to the best of my ability, post it online at Amazon either for free or for very cheap. My goal isn't to gain recondition or make a profit, but simply to receive feedback on my writing. So I'm issuing a little contest for anyone who wants to participate: make some cover art for "The Lost War".  This contest would start right now and be over by September 7. With your permission I would like to use the cover art for my book on Amazon. I, unfortunately, am broke and so cannot pay any money, but I would be happy to spread the word about your stories and/or your amazing artwork! If anyone Would be interested just private message me and you could either sent me a file to the art or however you would like to send it.

          So it appears that Wattpad does not like me. I received a notification yesterday saying my book had reached 100 reads, although it only shows 28 for me, and if I go into individual chapters it shows absolutely nothing. Therefore I do not and probably will not for the foreseeable future know how many reads/comments/votes it has. If you have been commenting on it and j have not replied it is only because I am unable to see it, not because I am ignoring you :)

          I am sorry for any inconvenience, but I have edited the current posted chapters of "the Lost War" with one major(but not necessarily bad!) difference. I am so sorry for causing people to have to go back to read the chapters again, and If you don't want to do that I have provided a summarized version:
          
          All the eye colors, not just Hectics, have "species" names.
          Aerrs: blue, can levitate objects and create energy forcefields 
          Myrti: green, invisibility 
          Carinus: brown, healing and aura manipulation 
          
          Also,
          Hectics now have wings ☺️

I have decided to discontinue Hectic for numerous reasons. I am sorry to those who have kept up with this story and (hopefully) enjoyed it, although I will continue to write new stories and update. 
          I am possibly thinking of "reincarnating" the characters in a sense and incorporating them into a completely new world with a new plot and everything. 
          I probably won't update for a month or more as I work on this new idea as it comes to me and again, sorry for wasting your time with Hectic and I hope it wasn't totally boring XD

Character Chat has just been updated with a new character's responses. I should add new questions as soon as they come to me. This is proving to be a very useful writing tool! Thanks for reading. :)

Hey guys,
          Just wanted to let you know that I won't be posting as often. It'll probably drop down to one chapter per 1-2 weeks. 
          I had already had close to 15 chapters written when I first posted, and honestly got a little carried away 
          Plus I have midterms coming up, so that should be fun...
          Anyways, you guys can expect on average one chapter every week and a half.
          As a side note, a huge thank you to those who have followed me! Now that I know I actually have people who read my book (other than AmazingRiley...) I'm motivated to write more, so thank you guys for that!
