Hey,
I just wanted to thank you for your services even during this time.
I am sure everyone you treat and care for, and their parents are really grateful.
Do take care of yourself and stay safe!

Btw dogs get vaccinated against 2 strains of coronavirus, right? Or am I mistaken? I remember Hades n Zeus getting it (as a part of the 13 in one vaccine). I've been wondering if so why don't we have a human vaccine? DO you have any idea?

          Take care of yourself.
          xoxo

Oh okay! In Egypt SA and India they are vaccinated against parvo n 2 strains of coronavirus . I know that for sure. In UK they don’t against coronavirus. It’s the seven or nine in one while in other countries it’s the thriteen in one ( even though it’s actually 3 injections) annual vaccinations.

Yes jumping species always creates a more virulent strain.

I hope you’re doing well! Is work busier than usually? The same? Stay safe my friend xoxo

@Sim-AntinI there are tons of corona viruses that affect many species. This is a new one that crossed over from a bat (most likely). It is related to the SARs virus that behaved in a similar fashion. When viruses are new and cross species they tend to be very aggressive. Mostly because the new species has never seen it before so there is zero immunity. Look at parvovirus in dogs. It mutated from panleukopenia in cats (which still has an almost 100% death rate in cats even with treatment). Dogs were dying all over the place.
Most vets dont vaccinate for coronavirus in dogs any longer. Through research it was found that most dogs displayed very mild symptoms if any with exposure. The disease was only severe if they were also co-infected with parvo. So most vets recognize there isn't much point. We try to only vaccinate for diseases that are necessary.
