Hi there, thanks for viewing my profile!

A little bit about myself: I'm originally from Germany, but grew up in Tanzania and Namibia, and now live in the UK. By day, I'm a PhD student, and I spend my time writing very serious and academic papers (that hopefully make me sound very smart and important). By night (and any other time I can carve out of my schedule), I turn to my other passion, which is reading and writing fantasy and paranormal romance, and the occasional abstract poem. I've always loved reading and writing and I've been lead to believe by my teachers throughout school that I'm quite decent at it (and even by my current PhD supervisors, though they've only seen my academic scribblings). I really hope they haven't misled me and hope at least some of you enjoy what you find here.

I'm hoping to find a community here on Wattpad where we can share and discuss ideas, get inspiration, motivation and support. I've never shared my writing with many people, so this is a big step for me. Please let me know if you like my writing and if you have any feedback for me! I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!!

Ooooh, also, do follow me on Twitter: @LatanneeWolf

On another note, I thought it might be a fun idea to share the music that's been inspiring me during my writing. I'm currently writing on 'The Daemon' and listening to the following songs over and over:

Nerdy - Poison the Well (specifically this acoustic cover https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7k1CgjG1zQ)
Rise Against - Like the Angel
Rise Against - My Life Inside Your Heart
MSG - Nightmare
Kamelot - March of Mephisto
Kamelot - Necropolis

I find these incredibly inspiring especially for darker, more mysterious passages. If you have any song suggestions let me know!
