You guys! I'm so excited! My books are in a bookshop! They are being sold at Porter Square Books in Cambridge MA, USA on consignment, so it's a short-term arrangement and I need people to take them off the shelf in order for the situation to last, but it feels so good to say they are in a brick-and-mortar!

The July contest is open! The theme is: PERSONAL FICTION or POETRY & MEMOIRS or NONFICTION

What does that mean? It's a complicated theme this month. I'm looking for:

fiction with personal inspiration (like sci-fi but with a character modeled after someone you know or an author self-insert)
OWN VOICES stories, poems, or comics
poetry that you have a personal connection to as a poet
          memoirs or autobiographical fiction/nonfiction
essays related to the theme (for example: essays about "own voice" storytelling would be a good fit here)

I'll add a little bit of info:
Title: The Last Philosopher (Part one complete, Part two on going)
          Genre: Fantasy/Attempted Comedy
