It was a cold bitter January night and a long, hard labor process. But, at 8:45 PM she was finally brought into the world. Our beautiful newborn baby girl, Laura Lee McFaul. 
That's where it all began for me, and I've been here ever since. 
Virginia, MN is a small town of 9000 in Northern Minnesota. People usually call it the Mesabi Range, or da Range. Up here there isn't much to do, just hunt, work and drink. Two out of the three of those don't really apply to me, so you can imagine that I don't really get out much. 
Throughout my years of living I have had my ups and downs. I've lost a lot of friends, made relationships stronger and been through some bad ones. All of that has made me realize that you don't live for other people, you only live for yourself. 
So, then out with the old and in with the new. 
This coming fall I am heading to the big city for college. I will be attending UND and majoring in Early Childhood Education. I have always had a special connection with children ever since my mom ran her own day care when I was really little. I am so excited to beginning molding children's brains and help create a great future for the world.
