Probably the most bittersweet experience of my life❤:

Visiting my best friend's dog after school has always been highlight of my days. She is the sweetest thing and we adore her. So when we found out she had terminal cancer we were so distraught. We figured it might have been our last time seeing her, so a group of us who were close to her and her (awesome) owner decided to visit her and "pay our respects" after school. We promised to be strong and stay happy, but as soon as the dog went inside we started weeping hysterically. Her dog also had a cut on her tail so we had gotten a little blood on our clothes from playing with her. So there we were.... A group of girls...... Standing in the snow.... Without jackets..... Crying.... Speckled with blood... We laughed about how silly the whole situation was and attempted to console each other (failing miserably). Eventually we calmed down a bit hugged the dog and her owner good bye. And just a block away my friend and I break down sobbing. We told each other we loved each other and that we would always be for each other no matter what. It's the experiences like this that strengthen your friendships, make you appreciate life, and shape your character.

Anyways, love you Gracie puppy forever and always
