Our parents wonder and take the answer for everything, "Oh they're just being teenagers, that's why they aren't as close to us anymore"
Did you ever think why we want to hang out with our friends? Maybe because they're the ones who actually check on us, know our deepest secrets and fears. They know what it's like to be us, how we feel how we act.
They complain we're not motivated or diligent enough, maybe it's because we were never allowed to have our own opinions. That we were shut down before we could even think about them.
Maybe teenagers act the way they are, because they're parents are so busy looking on the outside to bother checking in the inside.
