His presence in her life was enough to get her going again.
          The possibility of him being a permanent part of it was why she kept trying for every day of her present to walk away from her past.
          Fear only crept in at the thought of her not being enough for him.

          Yet every time he pushed her away, she couldn't resist the urge to become closer to him.

Walking away brutally tore her heart, yet she knew had she stayed with him, he would've snatched away every ounce of strength she'd been trying to gain for years.

And if you asked anyone about what she wanted, they'd tell you money & fame. 
          For no one knew that beneath the surface, all she really wanted was to carry his burden with him & help him fix himself.

He looks at her and wonders if she'd ever love him back. 
          Little does he know, that if he were to take his eyes off of her, he'd notice that every word she ever wrote was about him. 
          
          About falling in love with him.
