@elegance_through omggg thank you sooo sooo much for speaking all this. I cannot express how grateful I am right now. See, I take interest in history and I have read far worse cases in history that actually happened. Not all stories have a happy ending. And I agree that you all come here for an escape from reality but try to understand my POV too. I cannot wrap beautiful fairy tales and present them to the readers. As an author, I would love to cover every type of story —be it happy, sad or mixed. But considering the response of the readers I would avoid writing this kind of ending in future.

            With only one chapter left, I just kept reading
            I was really overwhelmed last night because i was so deeply invested in the story .Your writing made me care so much.

@dreamymansii @dreamymansii I think we are looking at the same story from two very different perspectives. You are looking at it as a reader who loved the characters and wished they had a happy ending, while I am looking at it as the person who created them and had to decide how their story would end. The ending was never written to shock readers, hurt them, or make the story memorable at the cost of the characters. It was planned from the beginning because it felt truthful to the circumstances and choices within the story. You said I had a choice, and you're right, every author does. But my choice was between writing an ending that felt painful yet honest to the story, or changing events simply to make them happier. Could I have made Maitreyi defeat experienced fighters and survive? Yes, but for me that would have felt less respectful to the reality I had created. You don't have to agree with my decision, and you are completely entitled to dislike the ending. What I don't agree with is the idea that I don't value my readers. I truly appreciate every person who spends hours reading my work, and the fact that you feel this strongly about Maitreyi shows how deeply you connected with her. Thank you for reading the book and caring about the characters, even if we disagree about how their story should have ended. I am genuinely sorry for not adding a disclaimer in the beginning, but I have also read many books with tragic endings that had no disclaimer at all. I understand that you're hurt, and I respect your opinion. All I ask is that you try to understand my perspective as well. I take accountability for my choices as a writer, and I respect both you and your views on my book.

And trust me I have huge respect for the writer, I even respect you. But what you are hearing from me is my pure raw emotions I have no idea how to fake it. Lastly the way you said “ I can’t write fairytales and shit” so you should read my first two msg again because you never understand what i meant to say.  For me and I’m sure might be for some people as well IT WILL BE ALWAYS JABARDASTI KA ENDING” baa khtm. And let’s stop about history n all. I’m done with you and I think I’m going to block you now. I know maybe you don’t think that you need huge readers and you just want few people to reach your book and who genuinely cares maybe that’s why you won’t care if one reader left and that’s only fine but remember you are the sole reason and responsible if you never get more readers on that book. Because most of us check ending and who don’t read sad ending they will never read your book and guess what mostly people come here to est and relax not to traumatised them. And please for god’s sake stop saying I made them and destroyed them, ya you did by CHOICE . It wasn’t like you were under pressure.
            Nothing against you author truely nothing at all. Just bit angry on me that I thought to read your book, last time I read such book was 4 years ago im still traumatised. So I don’t read such books that’s it.
            I’m not feeling good about myself. I feel like a bad person to write such things to you. Let’s end it here. Ho gya Jo hona tha. But if you ever edit that book please change its ending “. You are creator of them you can do anything like anything. Oh god, I’m sounding so desperate here but maybe you do soneiand change ending.

            And let’s end it. Because you are not ready to understand what I’m saying. Because I’m sure  the way you write have you ever seen any disclaimer about male lead dying before watching a movie?? So I’m talking here about the book first and secondly the thing your wrote in the ch 46 you just have to write the same thing in the disclaimer. That’s what warning not revealing ending. I hope now you understand.  If don’t I can’t do anything.
            And yes, so many books have sad ending but their author are responsible and accountable for their actions. They value their readers. Maybe you might also do. I’m not sure.
            And as you said you were a depressed for a month, I’m also depressed from last three days. And I’m not even kidding that every time I remember them or  reply to I got tears in my eyes like even now in the morning I have tears in my eyes so don’t you dare say you are more traumatised than us because you had the choice and you made it and we as readers are forced to accept it. And yes you made them and destroyed to satisfy your I don’t know what.
