Sometimes, I look out of the window and think to myself:

"Dammit, why am I standing at the window again? I've got two research papers and that sci-fi-fantasy-crossover novel that I need to finish!"

One is an intricate work of logic and carefully selected stepping stones to build a compelling case, the other one is what my institute pays me for to do at work. 

Together, these two parts of my life form an exceptional potential for endless reciprocal procrastination.
