Greetings, everyone! It comes to my attention I haven't posted here in a bit. It's been a rough two years for me, as I'm sure it has been for many. I hope you've all been well through the ever shifting world.
          
          I just keep telling myself to keep going forward. Sometimes it doesn't even have to be forward, just somewhere else. There is a time for grief, but we should not embrace it long. There will always be more memories to make and hold close, even if the people they're of are no longer here. On that note, if you see a tinge of sadness to my recent poems, I apologize. It's my own way of dealing with the grief, too.

Good whatever time of day it is for you all! I hope you've been well over this summer. There's so much negativity everywhere so it's easy to be down in the dumps. All we can do is keep pushing forward and believe that better times are ahead with the actions we take today.
          
          On that note, I'm in the process of revising my first poetry book! There's a lot that needs improved, so you may see a reduced amount of my posts. Some of you might be thankful for that. :P I'll try to balance everything as best I can, but work's going to get busy here soon and it's really draining. I need to take my own advice and treat myself better.

          You may have noticed, but I've changed the cover to my poetry. When I created it, I didn't really have a name for it. Now that I do, I thought the covers needed to reflect that. I'm not the best at cover editing, but I think it fits well what the writing was born from-- Sitting Here, Thinking. Same poetry, just a different look! :D
          
          I also want to apologize if my posting my poems so frequently has annoyed anyone with notifications. With the extra time I have, you can imagine how much more time I have to write! 
          
          If any of you need someone outside of your circumstances to talk to, feel free to message me. Stress levels are high for a lot of people with all of this; if you need a random stranger to vent to, please do!
