@Shaifuddin6 I've nearly finished the next chapter. I took a massive break from writing as I just burnt myself out but like I said the next chapter is nearly done now.

@Mathew083657 admittedly I've taken a big break from writing it, I lost inspiration unfortunately. However I've been looking at it a bit more lately and writing things down for events in Shippuden that come to mind, again unfortunately I've forgotten most of what happened in the story so I need to read it myself to catch up with myself. 
            
            I've got the next chapter mostly written but I need to finish it and add some touching details to make sure it makes sense.

@boredteenager243 I would be lying if I said I hadn't already thought of this, had an idea of using kyuubi's tails as the replacement for the blooming flower move malenia uses and everything. I'll revisit the idea at some point and see what I can do

@Shaifuddin6 Yes it is but one of the changes I wanted to make in this rewrite is the relationship I believe started way too early in the original I wrote and in this one wont start gaining momentum until after Naruto has returned from the time skip.

@Kymfan yeah it's unfortunate but I am looking forward to writing the chapters over the Chunin exams so like I said I hope to be more frequent with my updates. The story as it was left of is a little slow paced but it will pick up during the Chunin exams.

Lack of motivation is always a problem for many writers

@Kymfan I am I've been slow to update unfortunately for a few reasons mainly a lack of motivation (not to do with the story) but I am still writing slowly. The next chapter is nearly done and I'm hoping once it is I'll be updating my frequently 

@pholyphonica it's going through a bit of a re-write I wasn't happy with some parts of it and where I wanted it to go didn't fit in sorry about that
