Not sure if you’ll ever see this, but I need to type it out anyway.
We’re at the age now where our lives start to change dramatically, we come out from under the umbrella of safer-feeling childhood, into rain or sunshine. Sometimes there will be both. We can get caught up in the movement and the new feelings, but we still are made of the ones we used to be, and the people we used to know.
Out of the blue today, a song popped into my mind, and as I thought of the song and played it in my head, I remembered how I came to know of it. You were the one to share it I think, in a book that’s now deleted.
The song was unlike anything I’d heard at the time way back then, but I listened to it carefully because I wanted to share that moment with you. Now, the older I get, the more special moments like that feel. That song, I wasn’t able to fully understand it back then, and perhaps I don’t even fully now. But it brought tears to my eyes as I remembered all the wonderful moments the silly times of younger days were. I hope you know, even when life changes and old memories drift away, they’ll still be with us and I’ll always remember those moments in 2015 with you. Thank you for giving me friendship and joy when I was just a lone star. Thank you for being a part of my constellation. I will always treasure and remember it all <3
