And before you seek the answer in the Jewish history archives, you must make a critical decision. Are you seeking spiritual knowledge outside the 66-book Protestant canon? Didn’t your pastor tell you NOT to seek spiritual knowledge outside of the Bible?
          
          The Dead Sea Scrolls have forced theologians to quietly rewrite the old King James version. We know somewhere out there in a dark cave or hidden tomb, there are more discoveries to come. 
          
          But a Bible in constant overhaul is a difficult proposition for most Christians. It’s easier to remain in the comfort of a familiar truth than to embrace a new truth that cancels out the old one. Columbus discovered America. I learned that in high school. I don’t want to hear about the Vikings who came two or three hundred years before Columbus got here...."

Happy New Year  Everyone! ... a changing of the guard and glorious opportunity to soar high into the stratosphere.  I wish I could declare tribulations obsolete in 2014, but we all know better. Tribulations will come. What we should remember is the battles of life first play out in the mind, requiring us to either conquering or surrender to  cynicism and the feebleness of our thoughts. We persevere because in those David and Goliath situations, our belief system propels us forward ... unless we are too fragile and beat down to believe.

A few nights ago was fighting spammers and hackers from Russia, Nigeria, Ukraine, etc. I threw a left hook to the malware slugs in Scandinavia; and then a right cross to the bandwidth leaches in China. I was weaving and bobbing and cleaning up my site. Next thing I new, I had blocked myself from my own site. The message came up... "YOU ARE BANNED FROM THIS WEBSITE! DO NOT TRY TO ACCESS!"
          
          Hey, wait a minute! How can I be locked out of my own site?
          
          So I had to go to the library and enter a back door I had set up under a different IP address and try to get myself off the blacklist. 
          Beware... ole Leander Jackie Grogan is dangerous with a keyboard and a mouse.
