Cool, another indie fantasy author. I'm trying to transition into an indie, though I started here on Wattpad. I heard you on the Rocking Self Publishing Podcast. I'll give your book a read as I have time.

@LeelandArtra - That does sound fun. Thanks for the tip. I'll definitely take a look at what I have. I've read a chapter of your work. I'll definitely have to get one if your audio books. They're the easiest to consume at my labor job.

@CraigAPrice Thanks my latest project is about to launch. Should be fun, it's all steampunk fantasy. The costs can be steep. If you at all worried I'd suggest taking some of your earlier works, giving them a dust off and publishing them under a pen name. You can spin up pen names like ghosts. Toss some stuff out, see how it plays, take the feedback and improve. Then spin up a new name when you want to make serious adjustments. Eventually you'll get it all figured out and then you can publish under your main brand (you can even keep the other pen names rolling if you want). It's a great way to try it out without worrying about ruining your main brand.

@LeelandArtra - It definitely was, I think it was you talking about ways to use twitter and that has really helped. I came at self-pub backward. I've had a presence on here (Wattpad) since 2011, and had one book featured that got more than 2.5 million reads, but I didn't discover self publishing until into 2015. I wasted those 4 years receiving rejections from agents. Now I'm trying to build traction. I can't wait until I can write full time, I've dreamed of it since the first grade. Once I build a name for myself one of the thing I'm looking forward to the most is collaboration. Anthologies and box sets will be awesome, but I love bouncing ideas and trading off chapters. I've done it before with someone until he went off grid and it's so much fun. :). I'm still learning, and I'm working on getting all the books I have finished edited and covers made. (And more importantly--the cost of doing so) I hope you continue to have success. :) Craig
