As a child, I was told that I had a gift. I was told that I was able to look beyond a person's color, gender, creed, religion and see them for just who they were--a canvas. You see, like a painter or sculpture; a writer has a canvas. Story-lines, locations, situations, and most especially characters are apart of a tapestry that is woven together to make up a work of art that can inspire, move and maybe even change the world. When I write, I want to change perceptions, minds, hearts. I want to stir souls with my words. I want to enlighten with my stories. I want to capture emotions that can't be expressed in any other way. I hope that as you read my stories, you will be become enamored with the characters, places and situations as I had to when I was writing.
