I have several issues with my current stories.
Devil's will cry is the classic mix of an "im so quirky lol" protag with op stuff just cause. There not much wrong with that when handled well, but in my mind I didn't. There were "plot twists" planned that didn't work due to inconsistent releases and no idea how to actually do them. For example, my big idea for his evil pieces was to just have them not work on him, and go to the hammerspace with his other devil arms, but even that was unambitious. Looking back on it, theres a lot of potential i could have done which probably would have kept me engaged more too. Like I could have had the piece actually work, then have him work towards releasing himself once hes shown that it was a mistake to trade his freedom. I was even leaning towards an Enigma esque sort of thing where his perception of himself placebo effected him into having weakness to holy items, specifically the holy water which other spardas aren't effected by. Lots of decent ideas, but terrible planning.
Devil trigger was too soon and unneeded, Dante reveal to the others etc, plans that would have been great but were meh looking back at them. As such I have started a rewrite.
I don't believe it should be deleted, since It definitely has its merits even how I now see it.
The Gamer has other issues, mainly pacing of skill progression and no deviation from the already made story but I can rework that with a bit of effort.
Regardless, I don't know when I'll get round to these, but changes shall come whenever I suppose
