Part 6 continuation
Jungkook picked up a thick textbook and placed it in her hands. “Hold this over your head.”

          Angel’s eyes widened. “What?!”

          “You heard me. Hands up.”

She reluctantly lifted the book over her head.

Jungkook leaned against his desk, watching. “Since you didn’t use your brain to code, let’s see how long your arms can last.”

Minutes passed. The book grew heavier. Her arms trembled.

Jungkook checked his watch. “Only five minutes? Tch.” He walked behind her, speaking low so only she could hear. “If you ever cheat again, I’ll make you hold two books.”

Angel gritted her teeth. She wanted to scream, but she knew better.

Jungkook smirked. “Welcome to my class, Angel.”

          The lesson was clear.

Part 6

Angel was exhausted. Jungkook’s brutal lessons had drained every ounce of energy from her, and she couldn’t take another night of punishments. So, when her friend Mia offered to send her completed coding assignment, Angel didn’t hesitate.

Just this once, she told herself as she copied the entire code into her file.

The next day, Jungkook strode into the classroom, his sharp eyes scanning the room as he collected the students’ assignments. Angel sat at her desk, trying to act normal, but her heart pounded. He won’t notice. He won’t notice.

Minutes later, Jungkook’s voice cut through the air.

          “Angel.”

Her stomach dropped. Slowly, she looked up.

Jungkook was standing at his desk, holding her assignment. His expression? Pure amusement—dangerous amusement.

“Interesting,” he murmured, tapping the paper against his palm. “This code is… surprisingly perfect.”

Angel forced a smile. “I—I worked really hard on it.”

Jungkook arched a brow. “Really? Then explain this function to me.” He turned the paper toward her, pointing at a complex piece of code.

Angel stared at it. She had no idea what it meant.

          Silence.

Jungkook’s smirk widened. “I see.” He tossed the paper onto his desk. “You copied this.”

          Angel’s throat went dry. “N-No! I—”

“Don’t.” His voice turned sharp. “Lying makes it worse.”

          Angel shrunk in her seat.

Jungkook exhaled, then gestured toward the front of the classroom. “Come here.”

Part 5 continuation
Tears pricked Angel’s eyes, but she swallowed her pride. She corrected her code, her hands shaking slightly as she typed.

          She pressed enter.

          Access Granted.

Jungkook’s lips curled into a smirk. “See? When you actually try, you succeed.” He leaned down, voice low. “Remember this pain, Angel. It’s the only thing that’ll stop you from being a failure.”

Angel clenched her fists, her pride wounded—but deep inside, she knew one thing.

She would never make that mistake again.

Part 5

Angel’s arms trembled as she typed, her body still aching from the push-ups. She was exhausted, her mind foggy, but she had to get this right.

Jungkook watched her like a hawk, arms crossed, waiting.

          She pressed enter.

          Syntax Error.

The blood drained from her face.

Jungkook sighed, shaking his head. “Unbelievable.” He slowly walked behind her chair, his presence towering over her. “You made the exact same mistake.”

Angel gulped. “I-I was just tired—”

“Excuses.” His voice was like steel. “Stand up.”

She hesitated, but his glare made her obey.

“Since simple push-ups aren’t working, let’s increase the difficulty.” He walked to the front of the room, tapping his fingers against the desk. “Fifty squats. Now.”

          Angel’s eyes widened. “F-Fifty?!”

“Did I stutter?” Jungkook’s gaze darkened. “Start counting. And don’t you dare stop halfway.”

Angel groaned but started squatting. By twenty, her legs burned. By thirty, she was shaking. By forty, she wanted to collapse.

“Last ten,” Jungkook taunted. “If you fail now, we start over.”

With sheer willpower, she finished. Her legs wobbled as she stood straight, panting.

Jungkook smirked. “Better. Now sit down and fix your code.”

Angel sank into her chair, barely able to lift her hands to type. She corrected her mistake, pressed enter—

          Syntax Error.

A shiver ran down her spine.

Jungkook exhaled sharply. “You really don’t learn, do you?”

Angel bit her lip, feeling dread settle in.

Jungkook turned, grabbed a wooden ruler from his desk, and tapped it against his palm. “Maybe you need a real lesson.”

          Her breath hitched.

“Hands on the desk,” he ordered.

Angel hesitated, but the look in his eyes told her there was no escape. Slowly, she placed her hands flat on the desk.

          Smack!

The first strike made her flinch. The second one stung. By the third, her fingers tingled.

Jungkook finally stepped back, his tone calm but firm. “Try again.”

part 4

The clock ticked past midnight. Angel’s hands ached from typing, but her mistakes kept piling up. Jungkook had explained the same logic three times, yet her code still refused to run correctly.

Jungkook’s patience finally snapped. He slammed his laptop shut, making Angel flinch. “Enough,” he said coldly. “If you can’t learn to think properly, maybe I should train your body instead.”

          Angel blinked. “Huh?”

          “Get up,” Jungkook ordered.

She hesitated, but his glare made her obey.

          “Ten push-ups. Now.”

Her jaw dropped. “What?! This is a coding lesson, not gym class!”

Jungkook crossed his arms. “And yet, you’re failing at both.” His voice was like ice. “Every mistake from now on? You do push-ups.”

Angel groaned but dropped down onto the floor. She struggled through the push-ups, barely making it to ten. Her arms were weak from sitting all day, and Jungkook noticed.

“Tch. Pathetic,” he muttered. “Stand up. Now, rewrite that function without a single mistake.”

Angel, panting, crawled back to her seat and tried again.

def login(user, pwd): if user == 'admin' and pwd == 'password123': print('Access Granted') else: print('Access Denied')

She hesitated before running it. This time, there was a syntax error.

Jungkook smirked. “That’s another ten push-ups.”

Angel’s body burned as she dropped down again. Her arms were already weak, but she somehow finished. When she sat back down, she was sweating.

Jungkook leaned against his desk, watching her struggle with a satisfied smirk. “This is what happens when you slack off all semester.”

Angel gritted her teeth. She was exhausted, but her pride wouldn’t let him win. She fixed her mistake and ran the program again.

          Access Granted

Jungkook raised an eyebrow. “Good.” He stepped closer, tilting her chin up with a finger. “Let’s see if you can keep up, Angel.”

Her heart pounded. This was going to be hell.

Part 3

Angel’s fingers hovered over the keyboard as she tried to copy the line Jungkook had scribbled. But her mind was blank.

Jungkook sighed dramatically. “You can’t even type one line correctly?” He grabbed the red marker again and wrote print('Welcome') in big, bold letters.

          “There. Type it.”

Angel quickly copied it, pressing enter. The words Welcome appeared on the screen.

Jungkook smirked. “Congratulations. You just did something a ten-year-old can do.”

Angel clenched her fists. “You don’t have to be so mean.”

“Oh, I do,” Jungkook said smoothly, leaning against the desk. “If I don’t, you’ll stay the same useless, lazy student who thinks she can survive on luck.”

Angel glared at him. “I’m not useless.”

Jungkook arched a brow. “Prove it. Write a function that takes a username and password as input and checks if it matches ‘admin’ and ‘password123’. If it does, print ‘Access Granted’. If not, print ‘Access Denied’.”

          Angel groaned. “That sounds complicated—”

Jungkook slammed his hand on the desk. “You’re wasting time.”

Her heart jumped. She quickly started typing, trying to remember bits of code she had seen in class.

def login(user, pwd): if user == 'admin' and pwd == 'password123': print('Access Granted') else: print('Access Denied')

          She hesitated. “Is this right?”

Jungkook leaned in, scanning her work. His expression didn’t change. Then, he slowly typed:

          login('admin', 'password123')

Angel held her breath as she pressed enter.

          Access Granted

Her heart soared. “I did it!”

Jungkook smirked. “Barely.” He grabbed her wrist, flipping it to check the time on her watch. “That took you twenty minutes. If this were an interview, you’d be rejected.”

Angel’s excitement faded. “Then what do I do?”

Jungkook leaned in, voice dark. “Simple. You keep coding until I say you’re good enough.”

          Her stomach dropped.

This was going to be a long night.
