HOLY CRAP, it’s been forever and I truly am sorry about that! a lot has changed since I was last here and I figured it was time to give y’all a little life update! 
          
          For those of you that don’t follow me on IG, on March 3rd, 2025, I was let go from my job of 12 years. Luckily, I was able to get a new one pretty quickly and started on April 1st. 
          
          I spent the entire month of March blissfully unemployed—my days were filled with writing and writing alone. I was able to complete The Detective on Patreon and then immediately got to work plotting and outlining the next in the series The Partner. 
          
          While all of that was happening I started working on a super secret project that I am incredibly nervous and excited about. I’ll be sharing more info about it on my IG soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
          
          As for Lies That Bind, I PROMISE, I have not abandoned it. I love them all too much and could never leave their story unfinished. With that being said, I want to give them the ending they deserve, I just don’t know when that will be. 
          
          For now, I’m going to keep it on hold until I have the time and mental capacity to complete it. As previously stated, there are about 10-15 chapters left. I will try to give y’all a better idea of when it will be updated once I am farther along in my secret project. 
          
          Thank you so much for sticking with me all this time! It’s incredible to know that people are still discovering Sara and the boys and that those of you who have been here from the start still care about it after so long! It truly warms my cold little heart!

hey hi hello! 
          
          just wanted to drop in and say i’m sorry for my extended absence! i had one hell of a summer and was busy almost non stop. i also got a surge of motivation for my patreon story, The Detective, and decided to try and wrap that up so i could focus on writing one story at a time. 
          
          i have every intention of finishing Lies That Bind, i just want/need to finish The Detective first!
          
          i hope to be back with some new chapters in the somewhat near future (hopefully late november/december). once Lies That Bind is completed i may start releasing chapters of The Detective on here once a week, but that will be up to my Patreon subscribers. 
          
          i truly do thank you all for sticking with me all this time. and for those of you who are just discovering the messy tale of Sara, Ty, Alec and James i hope you’re enjoying it! 
          
          note: there are about 10-15 chapters left! i’m going to do my best to have a consistent update schedule once i have a batch of chapters completed! 
          
          as much as i love these chaotic babes, i am SO ready to start writing something new!

          if you didn’t already see, i have tendonitis at the moment and holding my phone —where i do all my writing—is incredibly painful at the moment, so i’m going to be taking a short break from writing to let it heal.
