i just lost a fanfic i was reading and now im weally upset and maybeee or maybeee not have cried just a little cause frustrated. and am now just gonna have to wait and see if someone replies to one of the few comments i left.. which sadly wasnt many at all. i need to be a more active reader apparantly. and remember to put stuff in my library.

@yoonsthetics oohh our band has everyone on field unless they're an alternate.. Which is extrememly rare for us to have. Honestly just try your best and if your band directors know that you are motivated and will actually try then it should be enough. Espically since you were already a band aid.

@yoonsthetics yeah there are some really good bandaids who actually care but some of them just don't. At out most important comp this year half the bandaids didnt show cause it was a 3 hour drive in the bus there and back, and there was a finals too so if we made top 10 the we stay and preform again and get rescored. Which means we'd be leaving school at like 8 am after we get there at maybe 6 that way we have a practice before we go, then if we made finials (which we did) then we were scheduled to leave the comp at 1 am. We ended up leaving at like 12 am instead though cause it ended eariler than planned. But half our bandaids weren't there to put props on the field and setup everything else. So band members who've never set the show up before were trying to set it up and then bandaids who've never done props were having to stay on the field during the show so that the wind couldn't blow the pictures off their stands. It was a lot and made everyone very anxious. After that the same bandaids that didn't show up just stopped going for the most part cause it was cold. Im kinda concerned about how most of them are in 8th grade and will have to make the commitment fully to marching band. But theres others that proved themselves by being bandaids and that im looking forward to having in my band. Our band tends to get all 1s, and usually places 1st out over everyone for music. But our marching isn't that great so while we could have had 1st place at that comp for example, we were overall 4th or 5th place. I dont remember which one exactly. Our bds are strict when people dont wanna learn music cause thats what we pride ourselves on, but marching is a so so type thing. They work on it and stuff but you can tell they care more about the music and that reflects when they dont make students do what they are supposed to be doing and actually fix their sets.

@yoonsthetics our school divides busses into drum line, color gaurd, and seniors on one bus, sophomores and juniors on another, then freshman, bandaids, and front on the third bus. Everyone has to sit 2 to a seat which isn't that bad besides the fact that were a 5a band (so big big) and we have small busses since usually elementary school drivers volunteer for us. Last year when i was on the freshman bus was the worst though since we get memes when the bus is left dirty.. And bandaids thought that was a joke sense we cant give the middle schoolers memes.. So the freshman were constantly doing memes for the bandaids. Our schools bandaids are pretttttyyyy rude.. They stole all our post rehearsal popsicles even though they did nothing but stand in the heat.. So there wasn't any for the high school band. Im still upset bout that.. I wanted a purple popsicle.

@yoonsthetics oooh thats not too far. I go down there for marching band comps sometimes. Though its hell when you're on a school bus and you just wanna sleep but its too uncomfortable. We dont get shuttle busses until concert competition sadly
