Hey folks.  Many readers love fantasy farces that tackle real-world issues, like many classic THE TWILIGHT ZONE episodes did so well.  I'd like you to check out my attempt at the genre. Thanks to Covid-19, I have time on my hands so am editing and re-posting the novel LIVEWIRE VOODOO. This will take some time since there are 32 CHAPTERS, each of which has an average of 5-6 sub-sections.

Hey folks. This week, my update to THE VOODOO RUNNING JIMMY DOWN is some edits for continuity and creating a new cover. I slapped the old cover together quickly, trying to get something ready for NaNoWriMo. But it did not communicate the book's genre, which is urban fantasy/ magical realism. I think this one works better. 
          
          Updates until after New Years may be rocky, but I will continue trying to upload at least one section of clean text each week. But between Christmas parties, the family, some travel and celebrating New Year's, those sections will be short by necessity. I'll be back to a normal schedule come January.

One reader thought the novella ELIOT NESS FOR MAYOR -- AN URBAN FANTASY  lacked fantasy. Granted, it has a heavy dose of fantasy near the end. But as I re-read it, I realized it lacked fantasy in the front end. It read like straight-up realist fiction. So I've added doses of magical realist fantasy, hinting at a reality existing in parallel with ours.

Oh. And for those of you who were following LIVEWIRE VOODOO before I put it in mothballs, I just completed the prequel. It's magical realist... with a heavy emphasis on the realism. But it stars Frank, one of LIVEWIRE's heroes. And bits of the action intersect with some sections of LIVEWIRE VOODOO.
