When I write a story I get consumed by what is going on and often get lost in the moment.  Before I know it I've written another dozen or two pages and then I have to go back and delete all of the inevitable crap and fluff!

My current work in progress will be my first real effort at seeing a novel through to the end.  Despite having very little time available to commit to writing, I'm confident that I will finish it before I die of old age!
