As I was re-watching My Hero Academia, I noticed something that felt a little… weird. So, in the series; there is a character by the name Naomasa Tsukauchi, a guy with a Lie Detector Quirk.
If there was the suspect of a traitor within the school… wouldn’t it have made sense to give him a call and begin to interrogate the students? It was clear it was ONE of them; and it was easy to cut down after the Kamino Ward Incident (They were in either Class 1A or Class 1B).
So… why not just use him? It would have saved at least some problems for the future. It wouldn’t have stopped the War Arc, but at least the threat of a traitor would be constantly in the air.

@GSamus That, and his sister has a Quirk similar to this called “Polygraph” (This is in the Vigilante’s Managa), which basically detects the genuineness in someone’s words. While never outright mentioned, it is still heavily implied that his Quirk has SOMETHING to do with telling the Truth.

@LepocalypseLB He mentions that it's a quirk AFO stole from one of his ancestors. He never once is mentioned to have the quirk, or any quirk for that matter. Most fanfictions just kinda tac it onto him to make him slightly more useful as a plot device.

@LepocalypseLB The simple answer plot reason and the shows reason is simple the teacher didn't suspect any of their students to be a traitor also Naomasa is a detective so he could have been busy with something else.
