Level 0 Maid

Finally gathered my courage and posted a new chapter for The Machanika Facility. I'm gonna keep the Hiatus in the book's description until I'm consistently uploading again, but I've resolved to keep writing even if I'm not sure what my plans were and even if I would wanna restart the story to change things. If you were hoping for lots of the old plot points to be followed up on and all the character arcs to go in the way they were foreshadowed, you might be disappointed. However, I'm writing again!

Hiya! Sorry for the long silence and lack of updates. I've been going through a lot with school. I even had to drop a class because the stress got so bad. I haven't been able to write for The Machanika Facility or Reality Broke at all, and truth be told, I haven't given either of them much thought in a long while.
          I did, however, write a big blob of stuff for an OC for My Hero Academia. I don't really plan to make it a full story, but I do feel like posting it here for whoever might end up reading it. Keep in mind, I've not seen the anime personally, just seen a bunch of content about it and seen most of season 1 and the second half of season 4. There will be plenty of inaccuracies and improper representation of situations/characters. It's also unfinished. Despite all that, I like it, I had fun writing it, and I wanna share it.
          
          I'm not sure if I'll be able to continue either of my previous stories, but I would hate to abandon them. For now, though, I'm going to put them on hiatus. Hopefully I'll return to them in a month, once school is over. For now, to whatever dozen (at most) people read what I'm boutta upload, I hope it's a fun little read!

I am still alive. I haven't had a chance to write much for either story, unfortunately. Hopefully I'll be able to update at least the machanika facility once or twice before the semester ends, but either way, I hope to return to both stories when the semester is over!

The Machanika Facility should be resuming soon!
          I can't promise weekly uploads, but I came to a realization. The Machanika Facility isn't supposed to be some grand "magnum opus" type project, it's supposed to prove to myself that I can commit to a long-term project and enjoy it. I shouldn't concern myself with what might be wrong with it beyond the enjoyment I get from improving.
          
          Chapter 31 should be dropping tomorrow!
          
          And sorry for any fans of Reality Broke, I'm... Uh... I do have plans for its future and do wanna go back to writing it, but it's definitely less of a priority to me at the moment. I do promise, I've definitely been thinking of what to do with Serena and her character arc! Not so much thinking about Hayden or Delilah or Jay tho.

Well, frick.

          I. Genuinely want to start over with The Machanika Facility entirely after realizing this.

No chapters again today, but I'm feeling a lot more confident about my stories and writing. Reading my old stuff, I think a lot of it was awkward, but honestly that fits the idea of 4 high school students anyways. I'll let y'all know when I'm getting back to it with either Machanika or Reality Broke, but definitely no upload today. Got some big stuff due and I need to make sure I get it all finished!

No official chapter this week, but not for the same reasons as usual.
          While I was writing chapter 31 of The Machanika Facility, I had to go back to look and see if something in particular had been mentioned before. When I went back and read some of my old chapters, I realized that I'm not happy with the quality or content of the more recent chapters. I had a lot of plot points set up in every chapter before, and everything seemed more... Lively, intentional, something like that.
          So, I'm not going to post the chapter I wrote for this week. I'll post it in Machanika Side Stories to store it for the future, but before I post any new chapter for The Machanika Facility, I want to go back and read through what I've already written.
          
          Also, Reality Broke is on hiatus for now. I love writing for the story, but I want to update Machanika regularly more than I want to update Reality Broke regularly. I won't say it's canceled since I still love it, but expect it to get far more occasional updates than The Machanika Facility.
