In chapter 11 of my story, I made the serum Peter drank red for a reason. In Rick and Morty, the episode "Morty's Mind Blowers" the red vials in the room we're memories erased that were Rick's fault. The serum Peter drank is sort of an "Easter Egg" to that. Peter, the cold-hearted, self-centered sociopath (like Rick) is responsible for his own memory being erased. Get it?
