I'm going to start crying in the middle of class today. It's my last first football game in high school. I am excited that the game is tonight, but the fact that it's my senior year is slowly hitting me. I hate this town, but I am going to miss the dumb shit we do here. Band has changed my life honestly for the better. I have made so many friends from band. Some of my best memories of high school have been because of band. We goof off in the stands but when we play on the field it's like all of us have hit a switch in our brains saying "alright let's get serious and make this the best one yet." Giving and receiving good lucks (goodie bags) from everyone in my section have created a bond with them that I wouldn't have otherwise. This is my senior year and it is during a pandemic but I'm gonna try to make the best out of it.
