Wow it's been almost a year since I logged in here! I'm sad to say that my Nana passed in June. She fought like hell and won countless battles. But in the end cancer won the war.

Hey. I saw you commented on a book on this site that was supposed to be about turning into a mermaid. I was wondering if you knew any spells or actual ways to do so. I understand the risks and the responsibility of becoming/being a mermaid as much as I can without physically being one already. Guys I think I'm gonna take a break from my mythical journals. My Nana is dying. It's taking everything I have just to get out of bed rn. I made a journal for her. Might follow through might now. But I'll still be on once a day at least. Sorry to disappoint.

@AStrangeDream Wow this is late. But tysm! She is actually dying now. They are calling hospice in soon. It's been complete hell since last October. She gets worse and worse every day. It's a guessing game as to when she literally can't get any worse. The doctors and nurses wanted hospice months ago. But my mother and two uncles have control over her medical decisions. And they won't have it. She's been nearly unresponsive for a month. My theory is quality over quantity. But my family and I are on different wavelengths. Its disgusting. Not that you asked :)

@Caps-a-good-Chap OH MY GOSH IM SO SO SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR NANA!!! You’re not disappointing anyone; your family member is literally dying. Nobody can blame you for taking a break. I’m sorry about your Nana, and I hope she gets better, even if it’s hopeless. If she doesn’t make it, I know she’ll make it to a good place after death, whatever that may be. Also, remember to be kind to yourself during this sad time. If you can’t get out of bed some days, that’s okay. If you can’t stop crying some days, that’s okay. But the important thing to remember is that although the hurt doesn’t go away completely, it becomes easier to cope with, with time and patience and good thoughts. I hope everything gets better for you soon! :’)
