@angelgu_rox okay ty :D I want to read yours too!!

Parahunter_Mathgeek

@ZoeyNightshade thanks! I'm working on a thing called Spoken With a Stare but my computer is gone for a week so no writing. I'm going a bit insane.

@Parahunter_Mathgeek Spoken with a Stare? Sounds intriguing. I definitely want to see that once you've got something together!

@ZoeyNightshade oh, I don't know. Reject is already up for 4 chapters, but I don't really like it. I'm working on something else right now. My brain never really calms down enough to stay on one topic

@Parahunter_Mathgeek Lol I get that, I'm slow anyways. I was working on Call of the Starling for a little under a year, and I got ~ 19000 words. Then >30000 in 24 days - clearly, deadlines are a must for me. Regardless, though, it's pretty much dead at this point, so I'll probably go through my nano and edit it, maybe post it chapter by chapter so I can write it as I go. I'd like to see yours up here though!

@HephaestusChild07 haha I will, I'm probably going to end up posting it if I manage to clear up some of the screwier plot points. You should post yours, though - or at least let me see it! It looked really cool!

Eh, I don’t think so. My novel needs a crap load of editing. Maybe later. Lemme know if you do!

@SofiBudinich Please, don't wish me into an igloo. I'm rather fond of my home, and my life in general.. Though i really wish I could get rid of the pink bunnies wallpaper.. Might be a little old for that, eh?

I'd also be pleased to edit your story. As i said earlier, I think that similar mindsets are integral for an editor and an author.

I just want to to say that in COTS, there are some grammatical errors, and I am aware of this. However, this is purposeful, for as it is a first person, present-tense account, it makes sense for a young teen searching for her way in the world to have imperfect grammar. After all, no North Americans ever seem to use 'I' or 'me' in the right place. I, personally, have become resigned to this fact.

I've read a smattering of Calvin and Hobbes books, but personally, I prefer novels. The comics make my head pound with a dull ache after a while.
